Text in Latin, single column of Bible text with variant readings of the text in the margins, 2 woodcut initials, colored by hand; text clean, unmarked, some light toning, foxing, and soiling. Very Good. Text from parts of Jeremiah Chapters 8, 9 [complete], and 10. Although not present on this leaf, this edition contained 92 woodcut illustrations of the Old Testament by Hans Holbein (1497-1543), first published in Lyon in 1538. Among the printers is Charlotte Guillard (d. 1557) the first woman printer of importance. She was one of the most important printers of the Latin Quarter of Paris.
