It begins, "Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees." John Muir was a naturalist, explorer, author, conservationist, and first president of the Sierra Club. He died in Los Angeles in 1914. Miniature Book. 1 5/8 x 1 1/4 inches.
